Xavia – Lust

It’s here.

Lust is the first music video from a double-single release by Glasgow electro-rock outfit Xavia. The band went live with the video at 9pm last night on their streaming sites and already the viewing figures are impressive. This should come as no surprise given the band’s massive fan base which has only widened during their UK tour earlier this month.

It is an absolute pleasure for us to be able to share this video with you (along with some exclusive stills and screen grabs here). Chris and Steve worked tirelessly on the project with Xavia’s Charlie, and we hope you’ll agree, that the effort was well worth it. This has been the most ambitious project yet in the Little City canon and we’re just so excited to be able to let you see it.

With short films there is always a delay in putting things online as festivals are fairly strict in their polices of not accepting work that is available on the web but here we have a high quality music video that is being used for promotional purposes by the band. It has been a really journey for us and we are indebted to the band first and foremost for giving us the opportunity and for working with us creatively on the project. There was also the time, effort, sweat and tears put in by our fabulous cast and crew, all of whom gave everything to ensure these two videos were the best they could be.

Grading the video

You’d be amazed at the budget for this video. There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes and so many sacrafices made by people just to get the damn thing together but when it works, it is just wonderful and here we have a music video that we (and the band) are extremely proud of.

In case you missed it (how could you really we’ve been harping on about if for a while now) here’s the teaser for the second video that will be released very soon:
