We are delighted to share our latest music video, Sometimes, which we produced for the award winning Fife four piece Calm as the Colour.
Directed and Edited by Chris and shot by Steve; creatively they decided to strip back the production to suit the asthetic of the band and their sound. Using just a rehearsal room, a derelict building and the guys we have created something that we and the band think is very special.
We were drawn to the project because of the band’s “what you see is what you get attitude” that harks back to the glory days of indie; Stone Roses, The Smiths and early Oasis.
The shoot was a breeze with the guys in the band professional throughout.
Calm as the Colour recently played an acoustic gig in Edinburgh so Chris, Steve and Lewis Carmichael went along to record coverage of the track Sometimes, here’s that recording as a bonus for the release.
The band are currently recording their debut album while picking up heavy airplay on local radio and a loyal fanbase at gigs. We hope this will be the first of many music videos we do for the guys and hope you enjoy our efforts.
Music videos are something we love to produce and welcome any enquiries about possible collaborations in the future. We appreciate the need to show diversity and have the ability to understand the band ethos in order to produce a video that compliments the bands style and the selected song. We are proud of our collection so far and look forward to the next projects.
